Lucid is a “passion project”…We were founded on two simple concepts… First & foremost, you should have the freedom to evaluate solutions without variables like profit margin, credit balance, or relationship bias. One of these is always present a vendor specified project. Secondly, the Client should always get the highest quality solution available, within their budget.
Would you buy a $200 speaker with a 2 year warranty instead of a $210 speaker with a lifetime warranty?…or better yet, a $10,000 amplifier if you knew a functionally & technically identical amplifier could be sourced for $5,000? These variables exist throughout every discipline inside of technology; Audio, Video, Network, Control, Security, and Surveillance…literally 100s of opportunities to improve performance and reduce costs throughout each project.
We filter the abundance of options down to their simplest form so you can make informed, pressure free, decisions.
IMPROVES PERFORMANCE & REDUCE COSTS.
Architects, Engineers, and Interior Designers work in the best interest of the client. They provide a product that gives their clients the ability “shop” for services that best suit their needs and hold the selected vendors to the standards set in the specification. Completion speed, overall quality & attention to detail, warranties, as well as customer service, are all factors that can and should be taken into consideration when finding the right vendor. Unfortunately, without a specification, it’s impossible to create contractual expectations or compare “apples to apples”… this is especially true in the continually evolving universe of technology.
In most cases, the technology vendor is the “consultant” that’s responsible for guiding the client to a solution of their preference. Regardless of the obvious conflict of interest, this approach is commonplace for the low voltage industry. Consequently, if there’s a product that’s better suited for the client, they may never know, unless it’s a product that the vendor carries. All too often, the vendor carries profitable products rather than the best overall products. —WE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.
